What is AI?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a field of study and a name for the ability of machines to think and act like humans. For decades, scientists have attempted to build machines that exhibit human intelligence. However, many question the ethics behind how to create artificial intelligence.

Some fear that creating intelligent machines could lead to the end of humanity. Others believe that AI will change the world for the better by making lives more convenient and comfortable. To understand where AI is leading us, it is important to consider both its potential and its danger.

Artificial intelligence is defined as an intellectual effort to design and build computers capable of performing human functions. For instance, when you think of Siri, you're using artificial intelligence. The word artificial refers to something that is made rather than something that is natural or genuine.

By using this word, AI makes clear that it is not human intelligence; rather, it is machine intelligence. Some people think that AI will make humans obsolete since machines can perform tasks humans can do better and more efficiently. However, AI has huge implications for our future as it revolutionizes many industries.

When we talk about AI, we're talking about a revolution in technology- we're talking about the future! As more data is collected from AI, it becomes cheaper and easier to create new AI; this makes it easier for people to create new intelligent machines. By 2055, one quarter of UK jobs are expected to be replaced by AI. China and Russia are racing toward creating superintelligent robots- they believe these robots will transform their countries economically and militarily.

By 2020, China became the first country to create an AI robot with full human capabilities. They named their robot Canines Intelligent Robot- CanIR- Canines are trained dogs with high degrees of artificial intelligence. Since China created the first humanlike robot in 2010, the world has been debating how dangerous this technology could be.

Since 1950s, scientists have worked on creating the first computer- Dartmouth II (Dartmouth). In 1962, Comptometer II became the first computer company in the United States to have an CIS ORD II computer system- IBM computing system for mainframe computers as well as IBM CPU classification systems for its processors. Since then, people have tried different ways of building computers that can perform tasks like learning or vision.

For example, one team created a computer with a silicon chip called DERIVA III which could emulate up to 600MHz CPU speed and 64KB of ROM space in 1967- LISLE 60 V computer system with LISLE 60 V operating system software Software SOFTWARE COMPTROL COMPTRL CSWIM SPIN DISK ASSEM MAINT COMMAN COM COMM I concepted C N L R E D I do?
